The MinkeeBlue Story

Established in 2012, MinkeeBlue, LLC was founded on the principle that every woman deserves a handbag as versatile and fashion-forward as she. MinkeeBlue’s patent pending utility design features a 2-in-1 handbag and adjustable compartment system, eliminating the need to carry two, three, or four bags at a time.

MinkeeBlue introduces MinkeeBlue Baby and MinkeeBlue Travel lifestyle handbags. In today’s fashion world, women enjoy shopping for the latest trends including a chic diaper bag that doesn’t scream ‘baby’. Most handbags on the market promote pockets within a single compartment bag as a benefit to a great functioning handbag. MinkeeBlue Baby and MinkeeBlue Travel focuses on the ability to construct compartments within the handbag to create separate storage space. With a MinkeeBlue handbag there is no need to carry a purse, laptop bag, lunch bag and diaper bag at the same time. Now women can separate their lipstick from their baby’s diapers, and their banana from their laptop. One bag will do with a MinkeeBlue.

About Founder/Inventor

Sherrill Mosee, founder and inventor of MinkeeBlue set out to solve a problem she calls, the ‘overload bag syndrome’. “Its’ common to see women, including myself, carrying two or three bags at a time—a purse, laptop bag and lunch bag,” says Mosee. “Add motherhood and it’s possible to see a fourth bag—the diaper bag”. Mosee wanted to create a fashionable handbag for busy professional women whose role changes throughout the day—caregiver, employee, traveler and fitness enthusiast. “One bag will do with a MinkeeBlue”, says Mosee.

Sherrill Mosee is former president of Family Care Solutions, a nonprofit organization she founded to promote higher education among low-income women with children. The organization awarded over $3 million in child care scholarships to help women with children stay in school and graduate earning a college degree. She came up with the idea for MinkeeBlue after seeing the young moms struggle with their purse, diaper bag and book bag. Mosee put her formal education to work, a degree in engineering, and came up with the patent pending design. She describes MinkeeBlue as a reflection of who we are and what we do in our daily lives. Mosee is excited to introduce MinkeeBlue Baby and MinkeeBlue Travel to women around the world.
